THOSE WITH LONG TERM ILLNESS: Eileen Lewis, Eric Wagner, Andrew Curtis, Aubrey Leinhase, Florence (aunt of Tina Hoag), Vicki Wharton (aunt of Lisa Kokko), Lois, Gary Irwin (Roger Irwin’s brother), John (friend of Michael Pease), Dawn Kardasz (grand-daughter of Regina DelMotte), Dave Toensing (Lynette Primeau’s brother), Art Olzmann (brother of Dolores Koehler), Pat (friend of Dolores Koehler), Dave Deubel (Tim Leinhases’s uncle), and Jackie Marshall (Tina Hoag’s).
BENCH DEDICATION: Following worship we will gather outside near the playground to dedicate a bench purchased to honor the memory of Lynette Primeau. We remember, with this dedication, the many years of service that Lynette extended to our church, school, and the music ministry of our congregation. The bench has been provided through the PTL of our school, and the plaque of dedication through the Mary Martha Circle of Peace.
SCHOOL COMPLETION: Our school concludes its 53rd year this week. We pray for the future educational pursuits of our students. We give thanks to God for the ministry and efforts of our faculty and staff this past year, and pray His blessings for students, faculty, and staff.
SUMMER SCHEDULE: On Sunday, June 11, we will begin a summer schedule with worship at 9:00 am, and adult Bible Study following. Child care will be provided during the Bible class. The praise service will continue on the fourth Sunday of each month. On September 10, the service returns to 10:15 am when Sunday School resumes.
VOTERS ASSEMBLY: The Voters will meet next Sunday June 11, following the Worship Service. This is a regularly scheduled meeting for election of officers.
SHOE DRIVE RESULTS: I would like to personally thank all who donated gently used shoes, and if you shared the campaign with your friends and family to also contribute. As of 6/1/17, we collected 61 bags of shoes for a total of 1,525 shoes which will make a huge difference to those in need. We did not meet our goal of 100 bags, so shipping costs will be deducted from our profit, but we will receive a check soon, according to the total weight of the bags collected. Also, special thanks to Roger Irwin who helped move the collected bags to our storage building, and assisted when the Funds2Orgs company came to pick up the shoes on Friday, June 2.
