Covid19 Safety Precautions at Peace for returning to church

WORSHIP SERVICES WILL BEGIN AGAIN ON SUNDAY, MAY 31st at 9:00am. This start time will be observed throughout the summer, until September. Note, Sunday the 31st, we will not have Bible Study after the service, but thereafter, Bible study will commence around 10:15am each Sunday following the service.

*Of course, there will be some changes!*

We ask that those attending would please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth. There will be hand sanitizer available for your use throughout the building.

Our seating arrangements will look different. We will be practicing social distancing. The seating rows are set further apart than before, observing suggested guidelines. Please make sure that you allow adequate space between you and others when sitting in a row.

Communion will look different too. We will not be elbow to elbow at the communion rail. Instead, we will process through communion, either individually or as family groups, and will go right back to our seats. This is commonly referred to as “continuous communion.” We will also be using individual, disposable cups during communion.

We will not collect our tithes and offerings by passing the plate anymore, minimizing common contact between people. Rather, a single plate will be located near the baptismal font were you can place your gifts to the Lord.

Please, come join us as we step back into physically gathering as the body of Christ to hear His Word and receive His gifts. Alleluia!
