HOPE WARREN TO SIMULCAST DISTRICT’S THEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE: As Christians, our Savior calls us to spread his Gospel of salvation to all people. As Christians, our lives bear witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. But what does it mean to be a witness? How can my witness persuade someone to believe? How can I be a witness to people who do not seem to care about religion or faith? The Michigan District’s annual Theological Conference, “Take Heart, Take Action,” aims to give us practical advice and insight from several speakers on our calling as witnesses of the Gospel. The conference takes place at Our Savior Lansing, beginning at 830 am on Saturday Feb 24. The event – open to laypeople and church workers – costs $20; $15 for students. Hope Warren plans to simulcast the event for free. There are several restaurants in the area, but we plan to offer lunch for a nominal fee of $5. To accommodate a lunch crowd, we need an RSVP for lunch by Wednesday Feb 21. Respond by phone: 979.9055 – or email: [email protected]. Hope is at 32400 Hoover, south of 14 Mile.
